It seems misleading to call Destination Christmas, the forthcoming album from Fred Schneider's other band, The Superions, a new record. When I interviewed Fred back in 2007 for the B-52's Funplex press bio, he admitted the material was already five years old. At the time, he described its sound as "trashy and traditional."
At long last, fans can decide for themselves: Destination Christmas is slated for release on October 26, 2010. But you don't need to wait till then to hear it (it's the 21st century—we don't wait for anything). Check out the album sampler below to get a taste of the eleven original selections.
