Fröliche Weinachten mit die Familie Kelly

I have precious little to say about the Kelly Family. I found their album Festliche Stunden bei der Kelly Family in a holiday music bin the other day. The price tag was a whopping ten cents, and as it appeared to be a Polydor German release circa 1980, I deduced it had to be rich in cheesy goodness. Plus, at the risk of being mean-spirited, something about the features of the 10 kids on the cover made me wonder if perhaps there were some kissin' cousins in the Kelly Family tree.

In the interest of good taste, I have opted not to post their version of "Old Black Joe," in favor of the more traditional "Es ist ein Ros' entsprungen" ("Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming," for those of you who skipped high school German.)
